The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Tuesday that unidentified aircraft targeted a military gate belonging to Iranian armed groups in the countryside of Albukamal on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
Later, the Americans denied any involvement in the bombing on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The observatory indicated that the bombing “destroyed several cars belonging to the Iranian militias after they entered from Iraq to Syria through the illegal passages”, and that four missiles were launched from the drones.
The observatory stated that there was information about deaths and injuries as a result of the bombing.
The observatory indicated that “a new batch of tanks loaded with fuel entered the Syrian territories from Iraq,” about 39 tanks, through the crossings under the control of the militias affiliated with Iran in Al-Mayadin and Al-Bukamal in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
There was no information on the identity of the attacking planes, but a spokesman for the international coalition against ISIS, Colonel Wayne Maroto, said that the coalition had launched any air strikes in Al-Bukamal on Tuesday.
